The CBKA Honey Show 2017 was held on Sunday 27 and Monday 28 August 2017 (the bank holiday weekend) at the Fenland Country Fair in Stow-cum-Quy. Judging was on Sunday 27.
This year we had 217 entries from 30 exhibitors. Compared to last year we were down on wax entries, and there was less honey; many people commented that they’d simply harvested less than in previous years. We had different judges this year, too; Sue Carter and Bill Fisher were conducting an assessed judging under the expert eye of Bernard Diaper, Senior National Honey Show Judge.
